We’re always open to new members—whether you’re new to chess, returning after a break, or looking for strong competition and a sociable club atmosphere. Please come along to any of our Monday club nights for a free taster session.
Hammersmith Chess Club has over 250 members from all backgrounds, ages, and levels. Our venue, the London Mindsports Centre, offers a safe, modern space with great facilities. It’s the perfect home for our regular club nights, coaching, tournaments, and league matches.
💸 Membership Rates (2025/26 Season)
Full-season rates (valid now):

- Juniors (under 18): £50
- Concessions (senior/unwaged): £50
- Women, Girls & Titled Players (GM/IM/FM): £20
- Junior Hour access: £100 (in addition to Junior membership)
- Women & Girls Hour: Women £60, Girls £30 (in addition to Women’s membership)
Joining later in the year?
We’ll update this page around Christmas with any reduced rates for mid-season joiners.

♟ Want to Play League Chess?
If you’d like to represent the club in competitive matches, you’ll also need English Chess Federation (ECF) membership.
