Monday Club Nights
Every Monday evening, players of all ages, levels and backgrounds descend on the Mindsports Centre for our signature club night. Each week we run something collaborative, competitive or educational — for example:
Lectures & Training
One of our stronger members presents a game, theme or idea on the demo board.
Simultaneous Exhibitions
A single player takes on many opponents at once — always fun, often humbling!
Tournaments
Rapid, blitz or handicap events. Some are rated and require ECF bronze membership.
Variants
Evenings devoted to alternative chess rules and creative twists on the game.
Special Guest Events
From time to time we invite titled or master-level players to host sessions.
There’s always space for casual chess as well, for anyone who prefers simply to play and socialise.
