GM Ian Rogers – an Australian who redefined chess down under

Few players have shaped an entire nation’s chess as much as the legendary Australian Grandmaster Ian Rogers. As the country’s highest rated player for over 20 years, he played in a whopping 14 Olympiads (12 on top board), and won more than 120 classical tournaments.
