Your Games Analysed

We will be shunning the traditional practice of trying to analyse Grandmaster chess, and instead looking through some games played by you. Our top Hammers will be on hand to show the critical moments and discuss typical mistakes, with practical advice on how to do better next time.

If you would like a game of yours covered, please send it to me before the weekend. The game can be of any level, but those selected for presentation must abide by the following rules.

Rules
– Hammersmith members only
– Only one game submission each
– The game must be submitted in PGN format
– Must be a serious game played at a slow time control

What makes for a good game to look at?
– You made lots of decisions during the game
– It was unclear what your plan should be
– The game was particularly complicated
– The game was lost or could easily have been lost, not a miniature win
