Beginner session 🧑🏫 & social chess 🍻♟️

Jenny Mulholland (Hammersmith’s new Beginners’ Officer) will be leading a session for beginners in the main hall.
Great for any adults (accompanied children welcome too) new to chess or still learning the basics, up to about 800 rating. Informal coaching & opportunity to play folks at a similar level.
Parents of juniors are especially welcome. Just bring your chess questions & willingness to learn!
Meanwhile, for experienced players – grab yourself an opponent (and a drink… 🍷) to play some social games. Get to know other club members, in a more relaxed atmosphere than on match nights.
